FLASH EXTENSIONS MEGAPOST

I've been on a flash extension ODYSSEY today!

Here are some sites with free flash extensions! You're bound to find some of them useful.

And remember how we used to joke about something that would automatically key the lipsync based on the audio file? WELCOME TO THE FUTURE YOU LIVE IN! That happened!!!

Links after the jump!

NOTE: There are a lot more than just the extensions I highlight on these sites. Do some exploring, you lazy schmo!

#Ajar Productions (check out smart mouth) - At $50 a seat*, Smartmouth could easily be a worthwhile freelance investment. They also have a plugin that will convert your sync from 1s to 2s! You'll probably have to go in and do cleanup, but most of the work will be done! There's a free trial, too! Other extensions of note: MotionBlur, RoughenEdges, QueasyTool. Free! (Except SmartMouth)

#Dave Logan's Extensions: I'm pretty sure Autocolor Full, EasyPallet, and create masking layer are about to rock my world. Free!

#FlashGuru Extensions: A lot of these plugins are only tested through cs3. The latest extension post is from February, 2008. Free!

#Animonger's Freetools: NTSC safe looks dead useful. I'm not sure yet what to use animslider for. Free/Pay

#Flashwhip Extensions: Slim selection, but geared towards flash8. Free!

#ToonMonkey Extensions: My first go-to on any computer i'm flash animating on. I think i'd make it about four hours without frameEdit before just bursting into tears. Pretty much everything on this site has been useful to me in day-to-day flash. Free!

#CloudKid Tools: Home of Keyframe Caddy, which is a cheap-as-free version of the Trick-Or-Script's Thumbnail Plugin. Free! And speaking of...

#TrickOrScript: A couple of free plugins, but most cost the money. Check the free resources, first. The names will be different, so it will take some detective work, but won't you feel better knowing you saved the pittance of a licensing fee? Autosave is free! Free/Pay

#Anipedia's Flash Extensions: Some pretty cool stuff like IK'Motion and PixelTools. All free, and appear to be tested from flash5 through CS4! :o Free!

#OneByOne Design: Just the one plugin that allows smoothing on jpgs/bitmaps in your library. I think it's a multi-edit, too!**

#Phireworks Extensions: Some cool looking transitions and productivity plugins like LayerInfo and Selective Lock. Tested mx2004-CS3. Download links are CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE! The site says it is in the process of moving all extensions to demontowers.co.uk.

If i've missed anything good, please let me know! I'll update the list.

*Ajar offers bulk discounts for multiple seats!
